I had a nightmare. I dreamt that a part of my wardrobe turned into a tank of water with turtle/tortoise inside. It kept eating and eating till there's another pair of eyes growing at the top of its head, looking totally aggresive. The next thing i saw when it continue eating was that its "new" eyes exploded, shooting out all the food it ate like a horizontal volcano. The food it shot out was ginger slices, those which you can find in japanese cuisine.
I was still shivering when i woke up and decided to call my boyfriend. Was rather surprised that he picked up my call as it was only 6am. He said that he was having a dream too when someone told him to answer his ringing phone and it was indeed me who was calling when he looked at his phone.
Went to google about my dream just now and here's the interpretation:
Tortoises in your dream stand for slow progression and fear of getting involved in risky business. Even if there are plenty of chances and possibilities ahead of you, you are rather skeptic and susceptible and you prefer being steady and not taking the next step towards a higher position or a more important business because you are afraid of failure.
Also, we should not forget that the tortoise is shielded from predators by a shell, therefore it may symbolize your need to be protected from the outside world by a close friend or family member. You are vulnerable and not strong enough to face alone the jungle of reality and this is why you need a support. It could also be a sign of good luck, long life and good health. In a negative sense, a turtle is a slow animal and anybody can take advantage of it. Be careful, you might have an odd incidence because of your slow reaction. Finding a dead turtle means that you are losing a good friend through someone's fault.
The tortoise may also stand for hidden enemies who are waiting for the right moment to attack you and stab you in the back. The slow-moving animal may also represent the dark, hidden side of your personality, your instincts and primitive desires which should not break the surface of the intellect unless you want to enter a conflict with society and its written or unwritten rules of behavior and morality.
Dreaming that you are chased by a tortoise or seeing an aggressive tortoise in your dream mirrors your impossibility to face certain situations in your life. The dream therefore can be considered an advice for you to leave your shell and get out into reality to learn how to solve your own problems and fight for attaining your goals.
To dream of a tank denotes that you will find happiness in marriage. To dream that the tank is full is an omen of prosperity, but if the tank is empty then will you experiences losses in either your business or other financial affairs. A leaking tank is also a sign of loss.
