"A STOMPer says he was shocked to find out that the toilet doors in the boys' toilet at his son's school had been removed because the school apparently wanted to curb the problem of students smoking in school.
He said:
"I was really shocked when my child told me that the school has removed all the doors to the boys' toilet as shown in the picture attached.
"My child studies in Whitley Secondary School.
"How can they do this?"
"How are the students in the school going to change their attire if they have any PE lesson?
"Are they supposed to change in class where their female classmates are around?
"Change in the toilet with no door?"I think the school should give us an answer about it.
"Based on what my child told me and on my understanding, there are students who smoke in school.
"Is this the way for the school to handle the case of smoking students in school?
"From what I know the school has also employed few teachers to help with their discipline -- they got extra OM, ADM.
"So is the situation in the school aso bad that it requires so many people to maintain the discipline and remove the toilet doors?
"Does MOE allow this to happen?"
