Opps! Despite that i started speaking in english during the oral conversation with ms bai, she still give me a high mark of 36/40=)
She praised me for carrying the conversation well cos i can convey just like a casual talk without thinking that it's actually a chinese conversation test, whereby most of the people will be like so nervous that they suddenly are loss for words. Well, i think that it's partly because of ms bai herself cos i felt comfortable chatting with her. I am bound to flunk the chinese oral if my oral examiner was mdm sia cos she looks scary and fierce to me.
Yesterday was wearing spectacles during lesson time in the morning and changed back to contact lenses when rehearsal started cos my eyes will be too drying if i were to wear it till night as there was speech day. And everybody treated my spectacles as a toy--they were taking turns to try on my spectacles -.- Some friends were like telling me that i looked omg in spectacles. Didn't really bother me as i don't think anyone is gonna to notice that anyway
Boring!! Last sunday, my parents were invited to the intercontinental hotel for a London property investment show and was told that the money invested to profit is 1:4. Sounds attractive=) But anyway, it was so boring that my brother and i leave the room and went shopping in bugis junction instead. Shopping is definitely much more fun than those dry and boring business talks.
