Hasn't been updating my blog for weeks. Almost forgot that i had a blog. Hmm.. What should i type about? Guess i had already lose the ability to blog.
Let's start with what i have been up to lately. Well, i am no longer a shopaholic and singapore is the one which made me lose interest in shopping. Everywhere is selling the same type of clothes. Take skinny jeans for example, the latest trend, one shop started selling it, almost 80% of the rest in bugis street followed. What's the point huh? The worst of all is that the prices are similar, no big deal, not as if that shop A sells it alot, i mean ALOT, cheaper than shop B, C, D, E, F, G... Oh whatever.
Imagine everyone whom you see walking along the streets wearing the clothes, the jeans you are wearing, that's absolutely embarrassing. If you want some nice, unique and affordable clothes, go FEP instead.
Singapore doesn't has much shopping malls, those which are REALLY up to standard, to cater for teenagers like us. So, people turn to internet shopping! Because things all selling at a much lower price as they will not charge us 7% gst and they themselves need not worry that they need to pay rents at the end of the month!! Cool idea huh? Me also bought some things from internet before.
But so what?!? Fuck. Most of the blogshops are also selling the same things like skinny jeans, some cosmetics of unknown brands recommended by some tom, dick and harry in various beauty talk shows in taiwan. Let me tell you what are the some popular stuffs selling among most blogshops now. They are skinny jeans (as usual), unknown cosmetics brands, cardigans neon leggings (colours you name it, they have it), Little Miss T-shirt ( you should really walk 1 round in bugis street if you dunno what the hack it is) and sprees which they will help you to order clothes from yahoo taiwan auctions but you need to pay them a handling fee other than the cost of the clothes you purchase (with handling fee depends on the blogshop owner).
Talking about auctions in yahoo taiwan, they are also something like blogshops in singapore but just that they hired some good looking models with a professional photographer to make the clothes they are selling be more appear to be appealing. In fact, some clothes might look nice when you saw the pictures but regreted after buying it.
However, if you are buying clothes from yahoo taiwan auctions, you will find that it's not really that cheap as what you think whether you are buying it straight from the auctions or via third party- blogshops in singapore. For instance, you must still pay the shipping and mailing fees if you order from yahoo taiwan and the handling plus mailing fees for blogshops, all depending on the weight of the clothes. Overall, it doesn't really make a difference.
This is so, and that is how, i lose interest in shopping. My friends were like can't believe their ears when i told them i don't like shopping as before.
